CDGC enters St Lucia Triathlon

November 22nd 2014 was the culmination of several months training for Aretha Cooper, Psychologist and Elaine Clement, Physiotherapist.  In a moment of madness they decided to enter in order for the CDGC to raise awareness of children with disabilities in St Lucia and with the cooperation of the organisers, raise much needed funds to enable us to continue the therapy.

After lots of distractions during training but with the support of the team, family and friends they both crossed the finish lines in their respective races.

In addition, the organisers allowed us to run a race for the disabled children and families. The children and families had a wonderful day it is was lovely to see these children participating in a mainstream event.

To date we have raised over EC$11,000.
